The Hong Kong Journal of Emergency Medicine (HKJEM)
HKCA was invited to join HKJEM as a supporting organisation. After meeting with the representatives of the HKJEM, and consideration by the Council, the College is pleased to announced that HKCA is now one of the supporting organisations of HKJEM. HKJEM is owned by the Hong Kong College of Emergency Medicine, with the Hong Kong Society of Emergency Medicine and Surgery as a supporting organisation. The following HKCA Fellows have been appointed as College’s representatives to serve on the Editorial Board of HKJEM.

The first article contributed by the HKCA, titled ‘Simulation‐based medical education in anesthesiology and intensive care: A continuing evolution in Hong Kong’ was published in the recent issue of HKJEM. The article can be viewed here.
Examiners Workshop
On 22nd March 2025, an insightful and productive Examiners Workshop was conducted. A huge thank you to our amazing facilitators – Dr Albert Chan, Dr Simon Chan, Dr Charmaine Chu, Dr Mandy Chu, Dr Benny Cheng, Dr Carmen Lam, Dr Desmond Lam, Dr Henry Wong, for sharing their valuable experience and guiding us through the sessions. Experience sharing is paramount and their experience is the core value of this workshop.
Thank you to all participants for their active engagement and enthusiasm throughout the day. Their commitment is truly admirable.
A special thanks to Dr Henry Wong and College staff for organising the workshop. Their hard work behind the scenes is deeply appreciated.
